sorry i have not writen on my blog for ages
made loads of christmas cards but were all on the same lines
so did not bother to post them
i hope you all had a great christmas

will hopefully start crafting next week
and my new years resolution is to blog at least

it was fantastic not been away for two week before

have been busy making samples for beckys wedding invites

had such a mental block

but have made six now will post them when she has made a decision

she is home for a week at the end on nov

just hope she will like one of them

have also still been making christmas cards

well i have been good

back from canada

have not been on for a while
got bogged down with life for a while

any way we have just got back from a amazing holiday
in newfoundland
staying with friends who moved out there two years ago
what a beautiful place and so laid back
we were even lucky enough to see loads of whales
so am now going to knuckle down to some serious crafting

my little crafting buddy Autumn is 9 on tuesday

i have brought her a piggy bank that you paint yourself

going to her birthday bbq tomorrow which will be fun

i have been busy crafting this week doing a cross stitch

for my friends in canada

wont to finish it in time to take with us whwn we visit at the

end of june

hubby coaster book

have made a coaster book for me

it has my two faverite photos of mick from our

last two holiday.

in both he has a beer in his hand x

nearly tidy craft room

have spent a lot of time this week tidying my craft room

and this is as good as its going to get x

Brag book

have made a brag book for my friends mum today

my friends live in canada so put the photos on her flicker site

for me to print

the papers are k& co mckenna paper pad

i covered my coasters and inked the edges

then i cut out the froms

the embelishments are from the large box of k&co bits

i got from QVC

grants mum lives over here so just got to post it to her now

i am still on my embroidery theme at the moment

so have used it in my design for my

tilda fat book swop on "csf"

march tag swop

have carried on with the emboidery

have been busy this week
emroidery has been my theme
as not been very well and could snuggle up on the sofa and do these.
the yellow one is for my mate jayne's bithday on sunday

had a great holiday

am back from holiday
so will have to start crafting again
what a shame
the pub i worked at has opened again but they are only holding
managers so are not taking on any staff
never mind more time to craft x

MOTHERS DAY CARD

this is the card i have made for my mum

i made the flower with one of the glitter girl

boards

then matted and layerd it and then added chip

board letters

quite simple

but i hope she will like it

thought this one would brighten up a dull day

stamped tag

had a play this afternoon
crumpled a tag , then inked over it in 3 colours
stamped in black anna griffin back ground stamp
stanped main image in stayzon onto greeseproof paper
and added to tag
have not tried any thing like this before
but am quite pleased for first attempt

engagement card

this is for an engagement the theme was black and red

had a complete mental block for days

so this is what i eventualy came up with so hope that they will like it

have been having fun today
my friends daughter AUTUMN came round to play
i had brought the k&co purses for her to make
great fun

went for my yearly eye check looks ok
have to be careful as diabetic

not been on for a while the computer is poorly
been having a job to get on the internet some thing to do
with add ons
have to get on through the back door

have had a lazy day today
doing my cross stitch
don't work on mondays at the moment
so have long weekends LOVELY

have been busy this weekend
doing my pages for the four seasons swop
on the lotstodo forum
spring- i used paper printed from the free crafter companion cd
and decoupage that i have had for ages
summer- used free paper from magazine
autumn- used my tapastry stamps on this one
winter- my winter village stamp

am try to use what i have in stash
and save some pennies
as it looks like the pub i work in is going to close
and no body has a clue how long for

not a good start to the year

jan tag swap

had a good day today
made my tags for the csf jan swop
used beer mats as the base covered them with paper
embossed round the edge with gold
(melted the carpet at this stage OPPS)
then added chip board message and
K &co flowers
i am quite pleased with them

have not been on for a few days
as not been well
have a new printer to play with
am going to try scaning in my crafty things
to see if they look better than uploading photos
some look ok but others only show parts
have been cross stitching while not well
trying to finish one that looks like my
retriver SAM he died 2 years ago
hubby said he will pay to have it framed for me
but still get upset

horay finally got some crafting done
started with a couple of fat book pages
for the flower swop on csf
and then two projects from the k&co make and take
kit i got from qvc
it is great to have time to craft again

no crafting again today.
have taken all the christmas deckies down instead.
a am going to sort out my craft room next
then hope fully start crafting again tomorrow

well it's the first day of a new year so
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
had to work last night so a bit tired today
my new years resolution is to add some thing to my blog every day
no crafting today as going to friends for the day
but will start tomorrow
